Members of the Sussex Peace Alliance pulled this cart all the way from Brighton to Beachy Head - a grueling 20 mile journey, carrying a Peace Plaque, which has now been erected beside the Beachy Head Peace Path.

Tree collapses in Harding Avenue  (1.15mins)

When a new power cable feeding the rail network was laid down the western side of Harding Avenue, the contractors could have hardly envisaged that their work could undermine the stability of mature trees in the road. On Monday, 26th May, in the midmorning, this mature and beautiful tree suddenly and unexpectedly snapped at the base, crashing down into nearby gardens.
