Eastbourne Extreme
19th - 20th July 2008
Eastbourne Extreme is a spectacular free event that attracts many spectators to numerous acts of daring on land and sea from acrobatics performed over the roofs of cars to power boat racing. Kite flying, wind powered buggies and the skill of roller-blading and mountain bikes makes this an amazing experience.
Lammas Festival
Saturday 2nd August (from 10:30am to 5pm, followed by Lammas Blessing at the Wish Tower beach) Sunday 3rd August (12 noon to 5pm)
The Annual Lammas Festival will be celebrated with dance and music in the town centre, with a parade along the promenade from the Carpet Gardens to the Wish Tower and with the Lammas Blessing ceremony on the beach below the Wish Tower (view last year's event in our Events Section).

The annual air show presents this year four days of action packed flying on Eastbourne seafront. Up to 650,000 people are expected to attend.

1,750 runners, joggers and walkers participate in this annual event which offers one of the most challenging and picturesque routes across the South Downs and through the countryside.
