Capturing bye-gone Eastbourne  (9.35mins)

John Hayes is a remarkable artist who captures Eastbourne's heritage in a variety of art forms.

The old Birdcage Bandstand from the 1920's that formally stood on the beach adjacent to the Marine Gardens has been lovingly reproduced in all its fine detail. Anyone who listened to the bands that once played from this pagoda shaped platform would be amazed at the true to life image of Eastbourne long since past.
